Do creatures suffer from....
Death Penalty. Im currently vanquishing Grothmar Wardowns and my last group is Chaelse Flameshielder and her group has 1 prophet, dominator (with res), her (being a monk) and a few other peons. 3 times ive taken down the Prophet, and once ive gotten down the domintator and then both of them got rezzed by the warriors res sigs. But fixing our wounds with 4 leaf clovers and charging in again, they still seem hard to take down, so im wondering do they suffer from Death Penalty?
Edit: ive abandoned this vanq, theyre group seems not to suffer from DP because i kill at least 1 everytime i charge in and die, next time il keep my devourer rather than letting him die Last edited by lewis91; Apr 04, 2009 at 07:31 PM // 19:31.. |

As far as I know there is no real answer some people say they get easier to beat but I dunno. You might want to bring a ranger or /ranger with Frozen Soil if rezzing is an issue though.

Yeh i didnt think in advance, i would of brought cons ??_??
Theres: Charr avenger with flesh of my flesh, a domninator with resurrection chant, 2 flameshielders, 2 bladestorm Chaelse Flameshield and 1 hexreaper. i just can't get them down, i kill at least 2 off them each time i run in and they still seem to be fine. Yes, except for certain monsters that are immune from it (ex: EotN mantids).

even with death penalty, some mobs still would remain quite difficult to bring down.

best way to do that i've found is to kill dominators first then the FoMF rezzer then go for the monk boss and work your way down the line. also a interrupt mes or an interrupt ranger whose target is locked on one of the rezzers is a good idea.

That was probably the hardest mob for me to kill in all of EotN. Since they're a patrol, and charr patrols in that area have some bug where they will get stuck on the level if separated from their group, I eventually bugged the warriors (which are more apt to split from the main group) and killed them alone, away from the rest, and then moved in for the main group.
And yes, I do believe enemies get DP. |

[frozen soil] is a nice skill to have for HM in all vanguard lands and much of the Desolation. If you don't bring that, at least have some interupts.
Regarding DP, my theory is that yes, they do suffer from it. But I have no proof. |
